Chile hosted in 1962.Though Brazil's Pelé, the hero of 1958, was injured in the first match against Czechoslovakia, Brazil beat Czechoslovakia 3-1 to win the 1962 World Cup. 1962 came the famous Battle of Santigo where host team Chile and the Italians played to injure. The Italians were finally escorted out under police guard.
