Twister - A big success from Hasbro. A large roll out sheet of colored circles with a spinner that declares where each player's foot or hand most go. The object is to be the last man or woman who does not fall. Best played barefoot and slacks.
Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots - Pistol grip handles outside the ring controls the two plastic boxers. Hit the other guy on the chin to knock him down. Designed by Marvin Glass and Associates and released by Marx toys.
Captain Action came with separate costumes that allowed the doll to change into Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Aquaman, the Phantom, The Lone Ranger (and Tonto), Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Sgt. Fury, Steve Canyon and the Green Hornet. Captain Action was Ideal Toy Company's answer to Hasbros' GI Joe, and had the same person behind him, toy and idea man Stan Weston.
